The Litchfield Sportsmen's Club was established in 1950 to assist in the proper protection, propagation, conservation, and management of fish and wildlife, and to help others in this endeavor.
The Litchfield Sportsmen's Club is handicap accessible with plenty of free on-site parking.
Some of our activities include a children's fishing derby each May in our trout-stocked pond, cash awards to the largest buck and largest doe for members in the Fall, and various classes throughout the year.
For 2014 some activities we are proposing are public suppers, flea markets, kayak classes, kayak and canoe races, ice skating, ice fishing, foul shooting contest, and more.
We also offer rental of the Clubhouse for private functions. With seating for 180 and catering available, holding your wedding reception, dance, music concert, family get together or other event at the Club is easy and affordable. FMI: (207) 268-9271
